Police offering $50,000 reward for information on triple homicide – Regina

REGINA – The Regina police are now offering a $50,000 reward for information that would help solve the triple homicide in Regina four years ago.

31-year-old Gray Nay Htoo, 28-year-old Maw Maw and their three-year-old son Seven June Htoo were all found dead in their Oakview Drive home.

Currently police have five full-time investigators dedicated to the case, and in the past the police have had as many 25 investigators assigned to the case.

Investigators believe that there are people within the community who have information which could be crucial to the investigation and help find the person responsible for this crime.

The reward guidelines are as follows:

If you have information regarding this investigation, contact the Regina Police Service, Major Crimes Unit, by calling 306-777-6500.In order to qualify for the reward, the RPS requires persons to provide their name and address and a complete statement of their knowledge of the case to investigators. They may be required to testify. No confidentiality can be offered.In the event of an arrest, you may choose to file a claim for the reward. If you do so, you must file a claim by letter addressed to the Chief of Police, 1717 Osler Street, Regina, Saskatchewan, S4P 3W3. You may choose to mail it via regular mail or courier. Please ensure you keep a dated copy of your claim letter and any receipts.Upon completion of the case in court where a conviction occurs, the Regina Police Service Board of Police Commissioners and the Chief of Police at their sole discretion will determine the portion of the reward to be paid to any claimant(s). Only persons who have filed a claim to the reward will be considered.No member of a federal, provincial or municipal police agency including full or part-time employees or volunteers, corrections agency employees, full-time or volunteers or their family members are entitled to file a claim for a reward. Persons engaged in the judicial system either as employees or contractors are excluded from claiming a reward. This also includes lawyers, employees and family members of firms that were the victim of a crime.No reward will be paid until the case is concluded in the courts and a conviction occurs for the offense that the reward was offered for. Any appeals must be concluded with a conviction.Persons who provided statements to police in this investigation before a reward is offered are not eligible to claim a reward.
